The Lazy Part of Summer

Well, since it has been almost a month since our last post, I guess I should post an update, although there isn’t much to update about. It’s the dead of summer and the middle of Ramadan here, which means not much is going on. We just got back from a tour of Spain with some of Matt’s family – we visited Girona, Barcelona, Madrid, Segovia, and Granada and had an absolutely wonderful time.

Now that we’re back we’ve been enjoying having some down time, since our summer camp in site got canceled. We’ve gotten to break fast with some of our best Moroccan friends, and even though we’re not fasting it’s still enjoyable and it’s a great way to share Ramadan with our community.

Matt’s looking forward to working with the Engineers Without Borders group again next month, and I’m hoping to work with a local organization on project planning. Hopefully I’ll also find the motivation to plan for the upcoming school year, but I’m not betting on that :).
